1/ Introducing our mechanics series, explaining different aspects of the #hotairfinance protocol. Part 1: High-level explanation 👨‍🏭 Free $HAF tokens are unlocked from the treasury every 24h. They can be claimed by all holders that have validated their $HAF balance in our app.

4/ After the 3-day voting period has concluded, the vote is processed, enforcing the result in a trustless manner. Subsequently, a new season starts with the reward period.

6/ This eventually leads to a decreasing reward amount, but it is unpredictable how quickly this will happen as it is governed by the community.

5/ It is not possible to increase the season budget (amount of $HAF dropped over a season) as a passing vote only replenishes the amount dropped in the current season.

4/ There are two options for the outcome of the vote Vote yes: New tokens are minted to refill the treasury by the number of tokens dropped during the reward period of the current season. Vote no: No tokens are added to the treasury and the next season starts.

3/ During this DAO vote, $HAF holders can cast their votes on the amount tokens dropped in the next season (season budget). The voting takes place in the vote section of the Hot Air Finance web app.

2/ The DAO vote takes place every season during a 3-day voting period that starts right after every 30-day reward period. All validated $HAF holders are eligible to take part.
