@oldviennalager Cool! Yeah, i think just seeing him performing in person, even if he’s a bit wonky, would be great; he’s almost like a mystical figure at this point. I am still pissed that i missed the chance to see him a couple of years ago

Xingxing was going to bite a tourist again today and was criticized by his grandma.

@oldviennalager So funny when the people in the train are all discussing love and the guy says: it’s all fake, take it from me, the guy who is famous for killing his wife!

@lionel_trolling Yeah man we get it, you don’t like this guy, very cool

I made a 5-minute action film in 9 days using AI.
I think the biggest misconception about AI filmmaking is that it's just “write a prompt and get a movie.” It's not even close.
I generated over 600 images for this project. Most of them were bad. The good ones needed a lot of manual cleanup, cropping sections, upscaling and adjusting with Nano Banana Pro, and then stitching multiple images back together.
Sometimes a few hours just to create one input image.
I generated over 370 clips. About 100 made the final cut.
The two tools that made it possible:
→ Seedance 2.0 for action scenes and consistent multi-shot
→ Kling 3.0 for dialogue and everything else
Neither tool is perfect. AI filmmaking is still filmmaking. Story structure, pacing, cutting more than you think you should. None of the basics of storytelling change just because the visuals are generated.
I documented the entire process in this 29min breakdown.

What's the hardest part of AI filmmaking that nobody talks about?

I don’t know why either, but I want to point out that while the cause is newly popularized, it isn’t totally new. Michael Rubin has written dozens of articles about Somaliland, at least as far back as 2018. These are all published on the American Enterprise Institute website.

Basil🧡@LinkofSunshine
I genuinely have no idea how Somaliland recognition became a right wing cause célèbre. I see no correlation in my head. They’re even mostly right on this one too

NORMAL: The Australian Federal Police confirmed on Thursday to the Australian Senate that they disrupted a plot by Chinese foreign intelligence in Australia to violently harm me and other Australian critics of the Chinese government like @veryvickyxu. We were ''potential targets of violence'' and they were forced to raid individuals to disrupt the plot.
This testimony was before the Senate Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs. Thank you to Senator James Paterson for asking these important questions. Full exchange here: youtu.be/bschMSAlo6c
