Feeling halfway decent this morning, so outside doing chores and cleaning around the house when I noticed this lamp at the curb for trash, immediately brought it in and cleaned it up. Love these Tiffany style lamps and I knew I recognized the green dragonfly pattern.

Exciting #RetroComputing update: the iMac G3 I found on the sidewalk works beautifully! It's a 500MHz model w/ 256 megs of RAM, an AirPort card installed, and it just looks gorgeous. I'm so happy it's working! Just need to find the correct/matching "Indigo" keyboard and mouse

My family and I were running errands yesterday and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a familiar shape and color on the sidewalk… an Indigo iMac G3! Excited to refurb it, along with the sweet IBM CRT and a random SCSI hard drive I found in the same pile 🙂👍 #RetroComputing

Tested out an external scsi cd-r built from an old Bernoulli drive by installing and playing a short round of Dark Forces in grayscale on the portrait display.

@HotRod351c @AltShatner @aradiogurl It’s an IDE-SCSI converter, the AEC-7722 does CD/DVD drives, but not hard drives as that needs different firmware. However they are ridiculously cheap.
