also I feel like the concept of getting mad over "suits and gadgets" is incredibly pedantic because if bruce is allowed to become technologically advanced and modernised, why are we expecting dick to somehow be inept at the same things

No Dick adaptation has ever actually combined him with Tim. All they take are surface-level, aesthetic stuff like his suit and gadgets. No meaningful aspect of Tim’s character like his origin story or civilian life has ever been given to Dick in an adaptation.

Which is shocking compared to the reality that him breaking said mold and being excluded from the Batfam is what created it as we know it today. So Dick really has no business being there.

And when you think about it you start to realize why. Dick is the only one to truly get out and break the BatFam mold. That’s why he can only play the big brother adult Robin role nowadays, anything that breaks the Batfam mold is seen as a threat.

I think batfam fans shouldn’t be allowed to speak on dick grayson if they refuse to read any comics involving him pre 2000s, maybe even 90s, and only care about him to fulfil the older brother role and get mad when he has any personality traits reminiscent of the other robins+

@THEBATMAN2028 Thank you! I'm leaning toward the blue as well, but something about the black also speaks to me. I'm also just really proud of incorporating the plunging neckline in a way that doesn't feel outdated.

@HotTakeAJ The blue and gold looks cool the black one taking up too much of the suit I wouldn’t mind incorporating it in tiny pieces for a redesigned suit but they both look amazing 🙏🏽
