@JimCosta_ This screams gap year. This was basically a punt on free agency. They signed a bunch of 1 year deals which could lead to possible comp picks in 2027. Holmes wants to build through the draft. It won't work in 2026, so we better see results from those guys in 2027.

The “heavy lifting” is done
Can we say they failed free agency?
Justin Rogers | Detroit Football Network@Justin_Rogers
There are probably more veteran signings coming, but the heavy lifting of free agency is likely done for the Lions. With the draft on deck, let's take an honest look at where the roster is better and worse. detroitfootball.net/p/after-workin…

@MissKatefabe To be fair, he would have first hand knowledge of fossil fuels.

@MissKatefabe I am all for 8 pm shows on Saturdays, but every Sunday PPV should start in the early afternoon. It should be normal for all the companies to do it.
English

@JimCosta_ I don't think I am crazy in saying that the Packers and Lions are the #3 and #4 teams, respectability, in the North. Both teams have gotten worse this off-season.
English

Kyler's last full season he was 13th in TD & 11th in yards. Former #1 pick with more tools/talent than any other QB Kevin O'Connell has had to work with
Beat the Lions 2x with JJ and Brosmer
Quality tackles, stud WR, kept Flores, 4 Top 100 picks
A serious threat for the North

BREAKING: Vikings signing QB Kyler Murray to a one-year contract. (via @rapsheet, @tompelissero)

@MissKatefabe Come on, that is just the box for Jericho.....'s tiny hat.
English

@MissKatefabe It is and it is also why the Hangman match will be tense. Either MJF ends a heck of a run or Hangman can't challenge for the belt again. Legit intrigue and stakes.
English

@ChrisVannini This basically benefits the American because they have the strength of schedule depth. It could, in theory, help the (non-ND) independent teams since they don't have to win a conference. It severely hurts the MAC, CUSA and Sun Belt, though.
English

Sunday Read: The Group of 6 spot in next year's College Football Playoff does not have to be a conference champion. It's just the highest-ranked G6 team, a 2024 MOU change that some G6 leaders didn't realize until recently.

@MissKatefabe There is something really great about this e-sport arena. I wish this could be the long term home for ROH, if they get a TV deal. That is probably more of a hope, then a reality.
English

@MissKatefabe If we can't have Meat Madness then give me Ciampa vs Ricochet vs Moxley vs Dax vs Lashley in a Bald Brawl match.
English

@NickPopejoy @SickosCommittee I tend to agree, but at least this is accessible for alumni. Tuesday games in November are impossible for fans to get to. Ideally, they would put these games on Friday's so that they can maximize the attendance, but that doesn't seem to be the case
English

@SickosCommittee I'm not in the MAC but I hate removing games from campuses!

Eastern and Central are meeting in a midweek game at Ford Field in November for the next two years!

@MissKatefabe If Trent Seven was an actual mustache mountain.
English

@SeanRossSapp Jake Something and Mark Davis as a Tag Team would be incredible.
English

@MissKatefabe I was thinking about a tag team of Ciampa and Josh Alexander. However, I don't want any more Don Callis Family members and Ciampa might prefer a single run. Alexander/Ciampa vs JetSpeed would do a lot for new faces in the tag title picture.
English

@MissKatefabe In a vacuum, it is the best C2 by far. Incredible matches throughout and stories to go with it. The issue is that a Takeshita/Okada final with a Take win was a layup and avoided it. The other issue is I have to root for Okada to avoid the titles splitting again.
English

@SickosCommittee 2.93 yards per play. Just under 3 yards and a cloud of dust territory.

Look at this box we have here! It's got some of the coolest stuff we've ever gotten!!
If you've never been to a MACTION game, there may not be a better experience than seeing the Chippewas of Central Michigan!
Thank you Coach Drinkall and @CMU_Football, Merry Christmas!

@971theticketxyt Does that guy realize that Caleb Williams has the lowest completion % in the NFL?
English

@JimCosta_ I agree with Chicago, but Seattle is also very possible. They have to finish with the Rams, Carolina and San Fran. Three teams fighting for playoff positioning. The Lions can easily win the tiebreaker with them, if Seattle lost to multiple NFC teams.
English

I’m targeting the Bears. Two main reasons
1. They play GB (2x), SF & DET to close
2. Detroit can still win the tiebreaker over them
Maurice Pugh 〽️@DrMauricePugh
@JimCosta_ for Lions to get into playoffs, they have to jump a team ahead of them. Given schedule of the teams ahead, which one is more probable for them to jump?
