New York is ready for a shift change. Zohran Mamdani will fight for working people--delivering the childcare we need, and housing we deserve. He’ll be a Mayor for us. Vote for Zohran by Nov 4th!

@meelar @samraskinz SPs just make sense. In my district, 99% of the time a hotel can be built as of right even though 99% of the people agree it's a bad spot for a hotel. More community input is a good thing not a bad thing. Most local stakeholders who support this have no idea who/what HTC is.

As we celebrate #Pride2021 in NYC, I'm thinking of the over 100,000 souls lost during the height of the AIDS crisis. New York City was affected by the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s more than any other city in the country. We live and we fight for them. #HIVTestingDay

Where antisemitism exists and persists, so does Islamophobia, xenophobia, and homophobia. This is a big part of why we have fought to strengthen Holocaust education in New York City schools. Spray painting a swastika is not a joke or some silly prank.
Andrew Gounardes@agounardes

Greatly upset that a swastika was found in #BayRidge & even more disturbed that video shows it was done by young teens. @NYPD68Pct is investigating. A recent survey showed ~ 30% of NY 18-39 yr olds think the Holocaust was a myth. We cannot let the next gen forget those horrors.

Proud to have worked with @32BJSEIU @CWADistrict1, @DistCouncil37 @NYHTC to form the Labor Strong 2021 Coalition. Together we saw 26 likely victories to elect a pro-worker City Council that will put the needs of working people and their communities first!
