It’s time to c-c-c-c-clock out!
Today was my last day at Konami ❤️ To the Yu-Gi-Oh! community, thank you for always being so welcoming towards me over the last few years. I’m sad to leave but I’ve gotta chase my dreams 💫
@Razorjamon91 The main problem is our preorder window usually closes before we get a full picture of a product, so stinkers like the Charmer structures following up the Albaz one REALLY hurt stores. They're going to have to balance with their communities to work on preorders
@Razorjamon91 I respect Ruxin doing it who has been here for all time doing it rain or shine over tourists coming in. Ruxin's easily earned the pass. Sets may go up fast over 2 to 3 months compared to before but there will still be opportunities to preorder sealed at relatively great prices
I'm seeing many duelists freak out over scalpers coming to Yu-Gi-Oh. Yu-Gi-Oh has one of the most generous preorder windows and most good locals will GLADLY let you take preorders with them if you pay ahead because most products go for far far far far far far under MSRP lol.
@House_of_Champs i mean tbf, isn't the set you screencap a limited release?
there's cheaper battle ox's out there. i mean the one i recently got was from legendary decks II.
I should have just bought a set for 100 instead of copiuming. OCG extended arts will have to do for my LOB format decks haha not like Im getting any Time Wizard Yu-Gi-Oh in anyways (:
@House_of_Champs My OTS store over charges for any premium yugioh products or set release. For example they wanted $130 for preorder for blzing dominion, and right across the street they wanted $80.
I asked and he said these are our prices. They didn’t care.
@Blacksilence26 TBF it is my mutually worry that we'll hear the word again legitly or worse - bad stores pretending its happening to them then pretending they had to pay more to get boxes in days later "just for their base" to make their base pity buy into packs higher.
If you order online, find and order with sellers that have a good reputation. We haven't had "allocation" (konami giving stores less boxes than they ordered) in years but I'm sure the rising popularity will strain the system some
Not all locals are good locals, anyone with a license and $$$ can set up a shop, and many stores stopped carrying Yu-Gi-Oh last year. I get it isn't the easiest or more comprehensive thing in the world. Talk to your GOOD shop owners if you can and set up healthy relations.
Crashing out over Dzeeff being the one to present Grandmaster rares and presenting him as "not modern" as the "context" when Doug topped in the MOTHER FREAKING LINK ERA and the premise of Yu-Gi-Oh Grandmaster rares debut is featuring from era of Yu-Gi-Oh is hilarious to me.
@DragonLord619@Mimighoulman28 Yugioh has the most generous preorder windows. Work woth your good locals. Msrp guaranteed is a huge huge profit for a locals
