Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III alongside several members of the House of Representatives on Thursday conducted an aerial inspection and site visit in the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park in Isabela in line with the Chamber’s intensified efforts to protect and sustainably develop the Sierra Madre mountain range. Recognizing that deforestation, illegal practices, and outdated forest policies continue to threaten the Sierra Madre ecosystem, the Speaker from Isabela earlier filed House Bill No. 3538 seeking to establish the Sierra Madre Conservation and Development Authority (SMCDA).
