We are proud to share that our own Casey Howshall (2nd from left) participated in the 2024 World Rowing Championships held in Saint Catharines, Ontario, Canada last month. His team raced the senior Lightweight Quadruple Sculls and won the silver medal, only 0.35 seconds behind -

- This investigation enabled us to shed light on some intriguing chemistry of disubstituted Mo alkylidenes, a class of complexes that will be key to development of strategies for synthesis of tetrasubstituted alkenes, about which precious little is known. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

We are happy to share the result of our latest studies on stereoselective (not stereoretentive this time) cross-metathesis reactions that generate trisubstituted alkenes with a Cl,CF3-substituted terminus. Another collaboration with our friends in Pittsburgh @pengliu_group. -
