There is no never-ending pot of money in the UK. I think we can all agree on that. So why would you attack pensioners, who contributed financially, and so many other ways, and not immigrants who haven’t? Is it fear? Why?

Many of us are at work today on a bank holiday, knowing full well that people on benefits have just got a bonus of £6000. I would have to work around 500 hours to get an extra 6k - they don’t have to do anything Why do we even bother

I've just spend £15.26 of my old age pension on some bits for my car. I hope that's alright with everyone.

Another point is that it’s pointed out that the tax payer will have to pick up the tab.Most pensioners are now paying tax unlike the unemployed who receive quite a bit with the add ons.Maybe if a claimant receives more than the tax allowance then the balance should be taxable.

@GMB re Triple lock the guy stated that State Pension is a benefit. No it’s not it’s it was contributed to by paying NI.Theres too many claiming UC etc and not taking up employment.
