And it’s funny how we are talking about the total population which has nothing to do with the total population incarcerated. When we look at the incarceration numbers we see white are only behind the total number of black inmates by 2%. So if the total number of inmates was 100 48 would be white and 52 would be black. Why would we include the free good folk population when referring to criminals… we want to look at the number of criminals that are in prison for each group.
