I have been short of words since I got Silver in the Quality and Safety category at the RDaSH Annual Staff Awards on Friday. I mean there were a lot of amazing personalities in this category!

Women are amazing but you see women in the Digital space? I duff my cap 🧢 It was an absolute pleasure to connect with fellow Digital Champions and Innovators through the @NetworkShuri tonight. I can’t wait to see what the next couple of months holds for us all 🥂

That big break is yours for the taking! Never be to shy or comfortable to chance on opportunities. Be excellent at everything you do- at work, in speech, composure, how you walk etc. let excellence ooze out of you baby girl.

If you have a short attention span, take it upon yourself to take notes or record the meeting for you to listen to later on. Keep your relationship and family baggage at the door, book a one-on-one meeting with your manager to track progress and get feedback. Be kind to yourself.

Midnight oil to complete tasks, write all industry exams to be up to speed, don’t gossip o and mind your business, don’t be jealous of your colleagues and try to be a good team player

In the first few years of your career, you need to work like mad. Try to know your onions, leave buzz words and ego aside, read every document sent to you especially with respect to any project, apply yourself, offer to work on transactions or project, ask questions, burn the
