Sinner Adam's blood changing color from golden to red is SUCH an amazing concept. Archangel covered in red and sinner covered in red have COMPLETELY different vibes. When it comes to first, you know this blood is not his. The second is mortal at last. Human at last. Prey at last
@Mrtnxzylpck@Hthetrue1@BootLute Besides, we aren't sure how angelic weapons affect angels/archangels themselves. It’s possible that the "permanent death" effect applies only to sinners; otherwise, it would be foolish to create a weapon that could kill you, too, wouldn't it?
@Hthetrue1@BootLute@AKNURWXX Seriously. She appears right before Angel Dust stands up to Valentino in Consent. The Irony of a fallen angel appearing as a demon proves their worth to Heaven is too poetically ironic to not be foreshadowing. I call her Heady
@BootLute@AKNURWXX She'll get him back, because the one carmilla killed already came back. Not to mention Vosk said she loves him no matter where he is...
i feel like seeing this scene for the first time the only way i could describe it is like putting a mentos in a coke bottle and then shoving it up yo butt and letting it explode u in the air
@bookaboooo@8NICOPINK8 Yeah, but imagine how much worse it would have been if they'd confirmed he was straight and not an ally, like they did with Katie Killjoy
@Hthetrue1@8NICOPINK8 Okay, not necessarily, like, contradictions, but I do believe that making a man like Adam, a man who fetishizes sapphic relationships, an ally was a poor choice on team's part
@8NICOPINK8 YES, SAVE ME. I've seen people who said the merch drop ruined Adam for them because he was a straight ALLY, not just straight 😁🔫
And not because they think he shouldn't be an ally since it creates contradictions in canon, THEY WERE LEGIT UPSET THEIR FAVE SUPPORTS PESKY GAYS
I think that Adam actually repressed most of his memories from his life on Earth. The memories of his kids as well. Imagine him being reminded of them somehow, after centuries. And when he tries to focus on those memories, he realizes that he doesn't recall their names or faces
@bookaboooo@Whaleinacup_ I love him having struggles with raising boys but the moment has a daughter, he realizes he adores her and would do everything for this little girl and see her as the most important thing in his life that causes his other children distress bc fathering is messy with men like him
I can't rly tell if I prefer a girl dad Adam or a boy dad Adam. On one hand, I want him to feel very protective of a girl, a future woman and talk to her about menstruation. On the other hand, I want him to hug his son and tell him that showing emotions is not a weakness
@bookaboooo Make so much sense, he’s never had a positive, equal relationship with a man in his life. He’s never had a dad (my headcanon is that he sees Sera as a mother figure) or a brother, and the only other men in his life were his sons, who were under his authority.
Adam's toxic masculinity is important to me. The thought of him healing makes me happy. And not by rejecting masculinity as a whole. Just changing his perception of it, growing more confident in his manhood, growing to appreciate vulnerability, love, compassion as concepts waaaaa
@bookaboooo That's exactly my point lol Even in the first episode, the way he talks about how he felt insulted because a girl was flirting on the drummer instead of him. He HATES male competition.
@Hthetrue1 I feel like it has a lot to do with power dynamics. In a male company you always fight for power in one way or the other. Adam wants to feel on top of the world, like his power is obsolete. He wants to make it clear that HE is the one and only alpha male there is and will ever be
