Engine 2 now responding to a multiple alarm fire on East Ave in Spencer. Multiple buildings burning, tanker shuttle in progress for water

Engines 1 and 2 along with a Tower Ladder from Rutland are currently operating at a chimney fire on Worcester Road

Companies are currently on scene of a brush fire spreading to multiple sheds in the area of 241 Gardner Road. Mutual Aid enroute to the fire as well

A very busy 24 hours for our members and neighboring depts. we fought a deep seated 2 acre fire off of Selfridge Rd starting at 11pm last night with final extinguishment taking place 13 hours later. Soon after our forestry units went to Winchendon for a 4 alarm brush fire

Due to the ongoing drought conditions, high fire danger and near daily brush fires in our area all outdoor fires are banned in the town of Hubbardston until conditions improve. We thank you for your understanding and hope you work with us in lowering the risk to our community

Truck 4 is currently operating at a large brush fire in the town of Barre. Additional resources from a District 8 Brush Strike Team are enroute. Approximately 4 acres burning

[Severe Wx Outlook] SPC has upgraded SNE to an enhanced risk (level 3 out of 5) today. Areal coverage of storms will increase this afternoon with damaging wind the primary threat, but large hail and an isolated tornado is also possible.

Shortly after midnight last night Engine 1 responded to this 2nd Alarm fire on Westford St in Gardner. Hubbardston firefighters operated on scene for 1 hour before returning to town

Engine 1 and Truck 5 operated at this 3 Alarm building fire last night on Maple Ave in Rutland. The initial Rutland engine company did a great job limiting the fire spread to the room of origin

In the span of 30 min this afternoon HFD responded to 3 calls. A1 responded to a serious medical requiring transport to UMass, Truck 4 was requested to Winchendon Rd in Ashburnham for a large brush fire and E2 responded to Acadia Rd in Gardner for a brush fire.

Barre Rd is currently closed due to trees and a power line being down across the road. Avoid the area
