The board has nothing to lose at this point. 2 week break, you have to cut ties. It’s sad the way it’s unfolded, but get Xabi in and let him see this season out. Arne looks lost.
We’re at breaking point. #LFC

Personally, I don’t think Arne Slot will be in charge next season, so I don’t see the point in doing the “respectable” thing and letting him see it out. I don’t believe he gets us into the top five and if we do, it’ll only be because others drop points.
Bring in Stevie G until the end of the season, someone who knows the club inside out, will demand standards, lift the crowd, and at the very least restore a bit of fight and identity. Then hand it over to Xabi in the summer for a proper long-term reset.

So, @StBlazeyAFC to stage the Cornwall Senior Cup final between @PenzanceAFC and @TheCamels1893 on Saturday May 9. Good decision.

Serious question: what do we do if we lose to Sunderland on Wednesday and end up seven or eight points behind United and Chelsea?
Do we stick with a manager who has clearly overstayed his welcome, shown no real proof he can turn this around and risk sliding into the bottom half of the table, or bring in an interim manager and set them up to fail with the near impossible task of qualifying for the Champions League?
Either way, the Liverpool hierarchy have put us in a lose-lose situation. Poor planning, delayed decisions and a lack of clear direction have left the club stuck between backing a manager who is struggling and making a change far too late for it to have a real impact. The responsibility for where we are now sits just as much above the dugout as it does in it.

Serious focus needed on Edwards & Hughes too.
They've sabotaged the season w/ these decisions:👇
- Sold Diaz (now has 30 G/A in 30 games)
- No DM signing last summer
- No CB bought (Guéhi debacle)
- No RB for Slot in Jan
- Didn't sack Slot after PSV when it was obv he was finished
- Ignored available Alonso
- Contract messes
- Tried offloading Robbo & Jones despite squad depth issues
If Slot's time is up, so is Hughes' & Edwards' ⌛👍

At what point do Liverpool draw the line with Arne Slot?
- Nine defeats in twelve matches, the club’s worst run since 1970
- Three losses to Crystal Palace in the same season
- A 3–0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest
- A 4–1 loss at Anfield to PSV
- No wins against a promoted side this season
- Public criticism from Mo Salah
- £450 million spent, yet the team sits sixth in the league
- Seventeen points behind Arsenal
- Four points behind CL spot
- Level on points with Brentford
- Only two points ahead of Everton
- A goal difference of just +5 after 25 games
- Man City first double over Liverpool in 89 years
How long does this continue?

Turns out it wasn’t a crunch meeting. I was duped. Not one word forthcoming from those involved - no information for supporters to read, nothing. Sorry to those who have asked me what’s going on.

@StBlazeyAFCRes v @KilkhamptonFC Despite getting the pitch and ground ready last night for todays @StPiranLeague fixture, the heavy rain over night has left the pitch saturated. The reserves are away to St Teath next week for a cup quarter final. @Cornishfootball @swsportsnews

Today we were out making the most of the gap in the weather, one of our vertidrainers went out putting some holes in the ground with a good amount of heave, in preparation for the rainy forecast ahead and our GPS line marker has been out at @cambornerfc on their training pitch!

Here are 5 clear benefits for grounds teams using the SISIS Quadraplay.
1) Huge time savings
With up to four maintenance tasks carried out in a single pass (aeration, brushing, raking, levelling), the Quadraplay dramatically reduces time on the pitch -ideal for tight maintenance windows and volunteer-led grounds teams(other implements available)
2) Reduced compaction & healthier turf
Fewer passes with the tractor mean less surface compaction. At the same time, slitting and spiking improve aeration, drainage and nutrient uptake, keeping the rootzone open and the turf healthier year-round.
3)Outstanding surface presentation
Brushing stands the grass up, removes dew and debris and creates a strong stripe, while rollers and levelling tools press divots back in — delivering a cleaner cut and a match-ready finish players and officials notice.
4)Versatility across surfaces & seasons
Suitable for natural turf, synthetic turf and hard porous areas, the Quadraplay can be used almost every day of the year. Adjustable agri-jacks allow light grooming or aggressive renovation depending on conditions.
5)Cost-effective, low-maintenance solution
One robust, simple-to-use machine replaces multiple standalone implements. It’s durable, easy to adjust, compatible with most tractors, and even includes a carrying platform — saving money, storage space and labour #sisis

Still waiting for confirmation of resignations at @AFCSTAUSTELL . I understand the handover to a new board is complete but chairman Jason Powell is still in position.
