Thank you @AQSoftball and @AquinasSB10 for an amazing camp filled with fun. I learned a lot and focused on fine tuning my mechanics. At the end we listened to a speech from retired coaching legends Coach Hutchins @UMCoachHutch and Coach Jonker about Women’s sports history.

Getting stronger in the gym!! 🔥🔥🔥

Great week of softball! Earned four more wins during our doubleheaders with Holly and Lake Orion. Against Holly (14-3 and 10-0), @AGoldman2027 went 4-6 with 2 home runs and 6RBI! @EmilySearle21 also had 2 home runs and went 4-7 with 4RBI. @HuffPiper2027 and @LilyEller2 each also had a home run! Huff went 3-4 also drawing two walks. @LexiZ46731 went 2-4 with 4RBI, @hpawlak2029 also went 2-4 and drew two walks. Senior Meredith Peterson pitched the majority of both games for senior night striking out 6. @MelinaWing2027 came in to face 5 batters striking out 2! Against Lake Orion (4-2 and 11-1), @zoie_gagnon went 3-4 with 3RBI, 4 runs scored and drew a walk. Piper Huff went 2-3 with 3 walks, Lily Eller went 3-5 with 2RBI, @ab_schlot2029 went 3-6 with a walk and 3 stolen bases and Emily Searle went 3-6 hitting a triple off the top of the fence. Melina Wing got the win in the circle game one, facing 28 batters and striking out 9! Meredith Peterson got the win in the circle for game two, striking out 6 of 19 batters faced. It was a great weekend for our Eagles at the Michigan Challenge tournament! The girls battled against some tough competition, and out of 40 teams, made it into the final four showdown! A big highlight of the weekend was taking down #2 state-ranked Anchor Bay, it was a great team win and the bats woke up early in the game - scoring seven runs on two outs in an inning and ultimately taking the game with a score 11-9. @MelinaWing2027 earned the win in the circle. @zoie_gagnon lead the offense going 3-3 with 3RBI, @AGoldman2027 went 2-3 with 4RBI. @aubreysoftball9, @EmilySearle21, @HuffPiper2027, @hpawlak2029, @ab_schlot2029 and @LexiZ46731 also contributed with hits. A few highlights over the five games played this weekend (against Battle Creek Lakeview, Holly, Oxford, Anchor Bay and Airport): -Emily Searle batted an impressive .709 average with 1.95 OPS. -Between Emily Searle at third, Alyssa Goldman at shortstop, Piper Huff at second and Zoie Gagnon at first - two awesome double plays were turned. -Lily Eller and Emily Searle each hit two home runs. Alyssa Goldman and Piper Huff each had a home run. -The outfield of Abby Schlotterer, Lily Eller and Hayden Pawlak had some clutch catches, held gap-hit balls to singles, and Abby threw a girl out at the plate! Very proud of this team and how they are playing together heading into the last few weeks of the season!

@HuffPiper2027 hit back to back home runs in our game against Yale and went 3-6 drawing two walks! She also made several key defensive plays at second base, including a double play with shortstop @AGoldman2027, who had 4 RBI’s on the day.

Lakeland sb had a great weekend going 2-1 at the Anchor Bay Invitational. I helped my team both offensively and defensively💪I had two back to back home runs 💣🔥and turned two double plays!! I can’t wait for what the rest of the season brings!! @LHSEaglesSoftb1 @MojoMunoz18u

After my spring break vacation I got back in the gym. I hit legs today🔥🔥 I am focusing on building strength. I hit a new RDL personal record!!! Super excited to be getting stronger!!
