Decided to get back to Warmachine and bought some models. Only took 7 weeks, 4 payment transactions, 12 emails, 4 chats and a couple phone calls. 1/5 probably wouldn't recommend, still missing some models 😆

Right now I'm half hating this bloody hobby, especially the painting part, but I am sadly tempted by these rather horrible figures; they came in the "Fantasy Warriors" army box in the 90s and were among the first figures I ever painted. I'm amazed that they are still available...

@Smygpainter The toy store in our town had an upper floor with model building kits. And there they had a small corner with fantasy warrior models. As a kid I spent hours looking at those models. Decided which blister to buy. A wonderful time;

@wood_duck_19 The club Christmas game was Marvel Protocol so I tell a lie. To be honest I’m open to trying most things as I’m always interested in exploring different game mechanics.

The nice thing about a club is that you get to try periods and rule sets that you might not otherwise play. Joined a Napoleonic game using a playtest version of Valour & Fortitude last night. Played using Warlord Epic figures which make for an attractive big battle game.
