The bond market seems to be sending a message to fiscal policymakers both in the U.S. and abroad that we have hit a breaking point with global public sector debt rapidly approaching the $100 trillion mark. The record-breaking gold price would concur.

Nothing is easier than to have good intentions but, without an understanding of how an economy works, good intentions can lead to disastrous consequences for a whole nation.

Want an America where we only need one job to pay the bills? Then pray for a much smaller government. Federal, state & local governments plus the cost of complying with regulations take 50% of private sector production. We take home half of what we make. Hence, we need 2 jobs.

Some observations about all the insanity in politics right now. 1) It used to be after you were President you got rich giving speeches and running foundations. Now you get sued into oblivion. 2) Biden’s choices are limited…if he runs and loses to Trump he opens up his flank with no protection from legal issues for him and his family. Don’t forget, they started this. If he resigns, he needs protections, but in order for that to work, Trump has to lose. 3) For Trump to lose, it has to be someone other than Kamala. 4) As a result, they are stuck. Totally stuck. 5) I guess he could pardon Hunter, but that would only be for a gun charge. So many more legal hurdles to cross. And you thought they waited too long. Ha. It ended up backfiring. 6) The press has lost all credibility … after saying “sharp as a tack” for so long, who is going to believe them when they say “The Governor of Michigan is the reincarnation of George Washington.” 7) What a mess we are in. If I were Trump, I would stay quiet, hope that Biden holds on, and nominate someone who will help to tear this crazy thing down. 8) The reason we are in this mess is because government is way too big. Insanely big. With bureaucrats (activists) that think they are smarter than anyone else. And don’t forget they get great healthcare insurance and retirement accounts, too. 9) So, my only hope is that out of this insanity, comes sanity. 10) It is time to change the direction of this country…move it back (Yes, BACK) to what it used to be. A free market, democratic haven with a small, very small, government.
