I'm glad the government has accepted our recommendations. Our review found unsatisfactory achievement in many areas and identified where improvements are required. We will examine what improvements have been made when we follow up on progress next year.

The UK's early aid response to COVID19 was strong and made an important contribution to global research to develop vaccines, so it is important now that the government builds on this to accelerate the supply and roll-out of vaccines to developing countries.

@DrWaheedArian Thank you for what you and other refugees are giving back to the UK. My grandparents came here from central Europe for a better life. Immigration, and emigration, are part of British life and history. We need to show understanding and welcome people fleeing danger.
