On Friday, 6OD enjoyed 'Bend the Rules Day' to help raise money for our Lenten charities. Miss O'Donnell decided to 'rock' the school uniform look but still had to be teacher (to the children's disappointment!)

2K really enjoyed their Lenten PJ day raising money for CAFOD. The children enjoyed being on the carpet all comfy in their pjs and having their pillows and blankets made it even better. The children wrote acrostic poems about Dream Land in English and managed some maths too!

This week, 2B took part in a sponsored pyjama day to raise money for CAFOD. We loved doing our learning with cosy blankets and cushions!#cafod

We had so much fun during our 2F Lenten PJ Day. Not using any chairs or tables was a highlight as we lay down, or cuddled our pillows, during reading, writing and Maths. We were comfortable and warm as we took part in dance, football and computing in our snuggly PJ's.

This week 2F have been making fire engines as part of their creative DT topic. Fabulous teamwork and super constructing skills allowed the children to produce realistic models.

The sun is out and Mr Mellor’s Maths Club is back! Today we listened to South American party music because Mr Mellor does not take requests!

EYM loved taking part in their "Easter chick hunt" as part of the CAFOD Lenten appeal. They worked as a team and have raised lots of money for charity. Well done EYM!

Today 1L is full of colour and creativity as we celebrate Crazy Hair Day for our CAFOD Lenten appeals! The children have absolutely loved showing off their wild and wonderful hairstyles while helping to support a great cause.

5TO took our learning outside today. Each group had to answer questions about the life cycle of an amphibian correctly, in order to get their 'frog' team-mate to cross the 'pond' safely!

3D were thrilled to hear they could turn the paper aeroplanes they had made in enrichment into a full science investigation.

EYM loved learning about "The Last Supper"! They shared a Last Supper of their own and talked about Jesus...take a look!

Year 2 have really impressed Miss Brown this week during their PE lesson! They have been learning football skills including dribbling with control, passing and receiving.

The children at Swans had a lovely time getting creative making beautiful mosaic flowers and bunting for their Mums for Mothers Day. There was lots of concentration, creativity and excitement as they carefully created their special gifts.
