we talk a lot about John Brown (shout out) and we should be talkin about Joe Pullen, a sharecropper who shot his debt holder. He then ambushed the white mob that came after him, killin and injuring 18 of em in a seven hour gun fight before being shot and killed.

You can call it an “off label use” of a drug. But pharmaceuticals being developed for one function to later be discovered to have another benefit and therefore being used for that isn’t a brand new invention or misuse of the drug. It’s literally how viagra was invented 🤣. GLP-1s are used for diabetics AND as a weight loss drug. They’re proscribed for both. People took no issue when it was marketed for the former. But suddenly when it’s discovered to have the added benefit of weight loss all of a sudden is an “early suicide” 💀. Ibuprofen can literally have the side effect of heart attack Like I said. This faux concern is quite sad. You’re mad people don’t HAVE to work so hard to lose weight and can just inject themselves and go about their day 🤷🏾‍♀️

The Ye Stage everyone is talking about:

There is nothing wrong with the drug. There is at least nothing MORE wrong with the drug than, say, ibuprofen. So the push back and faux concern is actually just sad.
