Amanda Bomar, a principal in Denton ISD, will lead Hughes Elementary after the 2022-2023 school year, bringing a veteran administrator to the campus. She replaces Dr. Jessica McDonald, who will serve as principal of Daniel Elementary. Read more: bit.ly/3ZtyVaL

Writing and sharing letters across the country, using digital tools to design amazing snow globes, and writing amazing haikus to express what they were learning in ELA! These @Hughes_Hawks carried themselves so well during their #nisdexpo presentation.

The Roanoke Public Library is now offering free library cards to all Northwest ISD students and staff enrolled or working at any district campus! NISD staff and students will have access to the library's physical and digital collections and resources. 📖 bit.ly/40FiA40
