@SaintAuz Appreciate it! Been testing this deck the last few days. Looking at bringing a few changes in to make it a little better imo

Went to #RQSydney eyeing off the Best-Of Ornn. Went 5-0 in PreRift. Only Ornn Day 2 and a 9-3-1 in Main event for a Top64 (57). Super stoked with this beast of a deck.

To the lad in the George Wakeling Stand who just headed Grant Smith's clearance back onto the pitch, what are your plans next season? ✍️👀

Lake Como seemed to travel so well for much of that race but can only finish fourth. Winner St Anton was heavily backed and finished well to peg back Comic Hero who was game and had got first run.

Friday's horse racing thread 🧵 Newmarket 2.55 Lake Como 4/1 Ascot 3.10 Wise Approach 13/8 Ascot 3.45 Remmooz 11/4 Newmarket 4.40 Cerro Blanco 15/8 Ascot 4.55 So Regal 10/11 NAP Goodwood 5.00 Veritable 9/4 Newcastle 7.33 Recency Bias 11/8 NEXT BEST I know George Boughey hasn't had a winner for a while but LAKE COMO looks to have a great chance here and I'm hoping he can get him back in the winners enclosure ahead of Bow Echo in the Guineas tomorrow. This colt by St Mark's Basilica ran on strongly for third at Kempton on return having been short of room. He has plenty more to offer back on turf and should have a great chance here under Billy Loughnane who is 2-2 on him as well. I've backed WISE APPROACH for the Commonwealth Cup at 14/1 so I'm hoping he can win this trial. He was firmly on the up last season winning two of his final three starts. I was impressed with how he recovered from a poor start to win the Middle Park beating Brussels and I can see him confirming that form here. He is a very talented colt and is one to keep on side given his potent turn of foot. Brussels is likely to have improved again and is the danger once more. Been waiting to see REMMOOZ back out for Owen Burrows. I thought he showed a really good attitude to edge out Volterra at Newbury on final start. He is a big horse who can keep progressing this season and the ground looks ideal as does the step back up to a mile. This is competitive and La Botte can perhaps give him most to think about but at a bigger price Rashabar could run well too and might be worth a saver. The money has come for Stellar Sunrise but I'm still keen on CERRO BLANCO remaining unbeaten. He looked an above average colt winning on debut and I thought he did well to overcome inexperience that day. He went through the line hard and is clearly going to improve again and if he does he is a danger to all in this. Saber Strike is a good looker who I'm also fearful of and interested to see how he runs with an eye to the future. John and Thady Gosden won this back in 2023 with Queen For You and they often target a good one at it. SO REGAL was a big eye-catcher on debut finishing a closing third at Chelmsford. She made a winning return at Newmarket when well backed relishing the step up to a mile. She can improve plenty again and looks a filly to keep firmly on side. I know she is a shade of odds-on but I'll be amazed if she is beaten here. I'd have VERITABLE clear favourite for this. By Dubawi he looks a sure-fire improver now handicapping over a mile and a quarter. He has shown enough to think his opening mark underestimates him and if settling better early I think he'll be the one flashing home under 3lb claimer Luke Catton. Morbeh can do better but perhaps isn't the most straightforward hence the cheekpieces. I'm all over RECENCY BIAS here and I don't care if he is drifting in the betting. He bolted up over C&D on reappearance and then was given a stinker when fourth at Wolverhampton. The sedate gallop probably went against him but I thought the jockey was very tentative on him. He has lots more to come and obviously returning to this venue looks a good move. I fancy him to be much better than these and win comfortably.
