⚽️Turner hits 250!⚽️ Before yesterday’s 6-2 win at home to Thorniewood, Vale of Clyde striker Kevin Turner was presented with a commemorative shirt and trophy to mark his 250th appearance for the club, after reaching the huge milestone in last week’s 2-2 draw away at Rob Roy! It’s a tremendous achievement that Kev has reached 250 games, giving everything for the team each time he’s put on a Tin Pail jersey, and everyone at the club congratulates him! Full time at Fullarton Park, and what a result it is as the Tin Pail fire home 6 goals to win an 8 goal thriller in the East End this afternoon! Cherrie’s penalty set us off, with Turner scoring a first half brace to take us into the break 3-0 up. Docherty grabbed a debut goal for himself not long after the restart, before Thorniewood got back into the game with 2 penalties, and the Vale were put down to 10 men with McMinigal getting a second yellow card. Great reaction though as the 10 men scored a 5th late on through Trialist and then a freak own goal by the keeper from a Cherrie throw in put the game to bed with the last touch of the game! This week it’s 6 goals, 3 points and Up the road! COME ONNN!!! 🔵⚪️🔵
