I have not seen a single mainstream media outlet give this the attention it deserves. Israel blew up an entire Lebanese town, an ancient place. It should be headline news. There’s footage of it happening. Imagine this was your town, and you saw every building blown up by a terrorist army to prevent you from ever returning. You would at the very least expect wall to wall coverage. Instead it passes without a word. It’s not the only town Israel has blown up. And sadly it probably won’t be the last.

Gaza is the closest reflection of Easter in the world today. Destroyed, buried, and still it rises, again and again, through the ages. A people who resist and sacrifice so a new world can be born again. If resurrection means anything, it’s this. Christ is risen.

It’s remarkable that Christians can publicly celebrate Easter in Tehran, but not in Jerusalem.

While our Christian community in Gaza prays for hope this Easter, “Christian” Zionism turns their devastation into despair, cheering it on as prophecy. Christians must pledge to confront, defeat and dismantle this vile heresy that disgraces us all.

This Easter confronts us with a painful truth: many Christians have turned away from the way of the cross. Instead of following the crucified Christ, they align with the empire that crucified him—seeking power and influence.

If you can look at Israel starting all these wars, bombing the fuck out of Iran and Lebanon and Palestine, passing laws to execute Palestinians exclusively while sparing Jews from the same sentencing for the same crimes, and still fail to recognize that the Israel experiment must be aborted, then you have not developed a functioning conscience. You have wasted your time on this earth. You have not managed to mature into a morally healthy human in all these years you've been alive. There are Zionists who are vegetarian, who are nice to their pets, who give money to charity — but there are no Zionists who are actually good people. John Wayne Gacy did charity clown shows for hospitalized children, but he was still a serial killer and a very bad man.
