@NuCaloric I partially blame the d2 community for this direction the art took in recent yrs. Destiny consumer brain allowed collabs to such an extent, that we got fucking star wars in destiny now for some reason. Shit like that wouldn't fly in the halo community for example

In his defense I think it's reasonable to see how someone might come to this conclusion if they've only been exposed to D2 for the past ~5 years. These obv aren't indicative of everything but I'm sure they leave mixed impressions if you're looking for cohesive thought-out art lol

There's no "ideology" in Marathon. It does not at all comment on contemporary politics. It's a dark sci-fi shooter designed by a team that made a point of eschewing AI, unlike other studios. Right-wing grifters like this guy don't care about that and couldn't tell you what is "woke" about Marathon if you pressed them because there's nothing there. Every single one of these culture war losers is some species of creative failure who gave up trying to make things or never tried and now just traffics in the dumbest content imaginable. They can't even enjoy the things they claim are their hobbies and interests, but just sort of parasitically attach themselves to whine for attention.

People aren't stupid. It's obviously not a coincidence that these prominent influencers just so happen to be "starting One Piece" at the same time, and this just so happens to coincide with One Piece becoming a main stream trend in the west. It's very blatantly hopping on a trend to manipulate the algorithm and make money. Many of us lived through being bullied by people like you for liking anime and manga. Don't insult our intelligence.
