@derekpringle Just finished the audiobook of Pushing the Boundary’s Derek. A fab listen and enjoyed the story around Giff being bought into play on the turner in SL.

He was also whistled up to bowl v Sri Lanka B in Kandy when a bunsen burner was produced, he was assistant manager of England B at the time. Typically he was the best spinner in the match and modest to a fault. They don’t make many like Giff any more…….
