Yesterday our old school, Huntington School, performed a brilliant version of Disco Down at their end-of-year arts concert. It’s not just that they sounded incredible…it was where it happened. That same assembly room where, aged 11, Rick and I saw our first ever live band. 1/3

160 musicians, united As One in their passion for playing music together. 🫶 Last night, teenage musicians from all corners of the UK joined together for the first full Orchestra rehearsal this summer, in the build up to the As One tour. 🤩 nyo.org.uk/performances

The energy on stage created by @HuntSchoolMusic tonight was off the scale. Macklemore, Moana and more. Just amazing. As always. Children and teachers at their best. Here's to tomorrow night and the secret project...Are we allowed to mention it yet?
