@letsgrowesports Players also have a say whether they want to extend or not. You are wrong about this. Org doesn't have any power once a players contract expires and which it will by the looks of it by April 30. And I'm sure Krafton will extend deadline as always which will help without buyout.

Now imagine you’re a new org trying to build a team. If you want a player, you’ve only got two options: buy them out or hope the org releases them and goes for a new team. Usually, most player contracts expire by the end of the month, and Krafton makes a smart move by setting the deadline on the 26th. But why does the org release them? They only do that if they’re not happy with the roster, but in this case, they are. And even if they aren’t, they already have another team ready to join. For the org, it’s a win-win. If the buyout goes through, they get paid and already have another team lined up ready to join them. If it doesn’t, they’re still fine keeping their current roster by extending the contracts. #BGMITransferWindow2026
