Highest yielding corn this year for our farm was a conventional hybrid by 8 bushels. 3 out of past 5 years this has been the case

Spigot has shut and stays shut from Sunday morning model consensus. Brutal late season heat for many, flash drought on top of established drought, with what appears to be not much if any precipitation for entire Corn Belt another 11 days (at least) and abnormal heat? WOW!
