They're not parodies. They're made with love and sincerity. Also Zombie films are only 1/2 the equation, Resident Evil is also very Toku influenced. In fact RE2 and Code Veronica were written by Japanese screenwriting legend, Noboru Sugimura who wrote Kamen Rider Black!
