To Our Paw-ticipants, It is with bittersweet emotion I share the news that I am leaving my position at the TDC to take on a new role as Director of Canine Research and Development at Guide Dogs for the Blind. Sadly, this means that the TDC will be closing its doors June 30th.

Sadie says she is “freeloader”. Out of ten feedings she never first approached the snuffle mat 😂 While she doesn’t show a preference to contrafreeload, she is willing to snuffle when her tray is mostly empty! Read all about our new paper in @SciReports! link.springer.com/article/10.103…

My master’s thesis was just published in the Journal of Comparative Psychology! I, @sebyosiere, and @AngieMJohnston found that cats and dogs gaze at their owners for similar durations in our community science study. Thanks so much to our participants 🐶🐱psycnet.apa.org/doiLanding?doi…

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting the TDC into your life and the life of your companion animal. Your participation in our studies has paved the way for groundbreaking research into the lives of our dogs (and cats!). For this, I am forever grateful. Best, Sarah
