@RobertfromLox1 @ikonboats @Gavin_Haworth That’s like telling a NASCAR driver to use the same engine for 3 years… In our case one small hiccup out of an engine with a lot of hours could cost us an entire tournament. there’s plenty of motors out there that have 1000+ hours on them and still run great. Ask any guide.

Just hear alot of “this is the best boat or the widest deck or best layout” alot when in reality the are all layed out the same. High motor hours? Let’s see some longevity. Show us a pro put on 1,200 hrs.

@RobertfromLox1 @ikonboats @Gavin_Haworth Only been with two boat brands in 8 yrs. so there’s that. Getting a new boat every year isn’t only for our competition but business too. There’s no doubt we all could run the same boat for 3 years- probably have to put a new engine on it bc the hours would be astronomical.

@Hunter_Shryock @ikonboats @Gavin_Haworth I would be impressed to see some pros keep a boat more than 1 season. Keep it and run it for the 3 year warranty period and let us know how it holds up. I am personally tired of seeing pros go boat brand to boat brand and hear how each one is the best they ever ran.
