Hearing that Anthony Edwards’ condition is not considered serious. The inflammation got to a point where he just needs rest to let it calm down. With the playoffs approaching, the priority is getting him fully healthy and ready to go for the postseason.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards will be re-evaluated in 1 to 2 weeks due to right knee inflammation.

An MRI conducted by Dr. Craig Bennett at Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine on Anthony Edwards revealed right knee inflammation. Edwards will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks, and further updates of his progress will be provided when available, per the Timberwolves.

If Las Vegas and Seattle get expansion teams, I fully expect the Minnesota Timberwolves to join the Eastern Conference.
