Isnt this the correct ruling…? You have to reverse the board state to right after the unfair stamp so any cards played would be invalid allowing him to reflip the hammer if it wasnt the card that went back into the deck.

The judge (who spoke Japanese) stated that he stated that he forgot to put it in the discard pile, at which point I said that this was not true. Then the judge shuffled a card from his hand back in and issued him a DPL, allowing him to reflip the Crushing Hammer.

It would solve the problem of people in day 2 automatically going into the day 2 without making cut, it would also significantly decrease the size of day 2s which overall for how the game is growing is a good thing IMO

Day 2 should be a record of 7-2 or better like at Baltimore 2024, having 700 person day 2s like at EUIC is a bit ridiculous

TPCI gave us back a round of swiss explicitly saying it's because they want players that make day 2 at 5-2-1 to be able to make cut at X-2-1, but we've had multiple regionals recently where the cut is X-1-2, which is brutal. PLEASE give us another round of swiss back next season

i feel like sometime in the future there's going to be a spike in value of Basic energy cards in Near Mint condition no one respects these cards at the moment... i can easily imagine a PSA 10 masterset of each era of energy cards going for a shit ton of money thoughts ?

@RealJohnWalter At worlds 2014 or 2015 (don’t remember) during a side event, I faced a guy from the Netherlands who after playing gave me his own victory cup with a picture of him on it, as a kid I thought it was pretty cool and I still own it to this day

I'm curious what the community thinks about these cards. Artistically, they are quite well done. But if an opponent hands one to you before/after your match are you thrilled, confused, or indifferent? To the people who have made custom cards and given them away, what is your experience? Are you just giving them to friends? Do people have binder slots dedicated to these?
