@lifeizwide @POTUS In a lot of situations a simple "noise disturbance" call can actually be more than a loud radio. It could be a loud radio with a man beating the hell out of his wife. This is a very common situation that the majority of battered women have experienced in their victimization.

@POTUS 96% of the activity - no gun is needed. We can greatly reduce the gun holders and use all of that police cash for more EMS, social workers, and detectives, since the police never seem to have enough staff to investigate or solve crimes

I know what works: investing in crime prevention and community police officers who’ll walk the beat, know the neighborhood, and restore trust and safety. We have to fund the police with the resources and training they need to protect our communities.

@lifeizwide @POTUS I can tell you have no idea what those noncriminal calls are. A little FYI, the large bulk of them (~90%) are Friday and Saturday night noise disturbance calls. Many of those same calls lead to DUI/DWI, CC violations, drug discoveries, and DV discoveries.
