Today, my first optics Ph.D. @MikeTaylorOptic graduated! Mike is an NSF GRFP recipient. His thesis work is related to the quantum theory of light-matter interactions. Mike will head to Los Alamos National Laboratory for his postdoc! Super proud of your achievement!

Today, @wenxiang_ying from my group successfully defended his thesis. Wenxiang's work profoundly impacted our group's way of thinking about molecular polaritons. Wenxiang will head to UPenn and work with the legendary Abe Nitzan for his postdoc. Wenxiang, we'll for sure miss you!

I’m thrilled to share that I will be joining the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester as an Assistant Professor! So thankful for this opportunity and excited about expanding the field of biocatalytic synthesis!
