Spear work in training today. I am realizing how common it was for Viking-age warriors to dual wield sword and spear together. There are a surprisingly large number of examples from the sagas, and so we’ve been exploring and testing that combination. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…

An excellent discussion this evening in the Hurstwic Heathen study group about building community amongst modern heathens. It was a wide-ranging discussion with concrete proposals, some of which are already being put into motion. hurstwic.com/training/class…
