@HushTCG It's actually a slightly different art from LoR. Keeper of the Masks was a card from Set 1 and Kinkou's Call came with set 8 I believe.

Pretty hard to believe. There is no way the most powerful and versatile deck is not playable next set, unless everything else also is not playable.

Alright time to start posting whacky deck lists like my bio says. Here's a list inspired by the best of Lee Sin deck from the Shenzhen National Open. Honestly Irelia is incredibly funny with these Orange cards and Lee Sin Legend

@AriyaIsTheBest @MegaMogwai Lastly I think Called Shot is as powerful as the power 9 in MTG especially Ancestral Recall. Looking 4 cards deep>3, and no lands in main deck means each card drawn is more gas than in MTG too, and their mana costs are roughly equivalent or better bc of EZ and Vex.

@AriyaIsTheBest @MegaMogwai First off alpha is not 100x more powerful than Origins. 99% percent of the cards especially the creatures are unplayable. Secondly the argument is that if there are design mistakes you should ban them. MTG took 5 months to ban them as the first TCG in 1994 in 5 months of Alpha

I disagree. It's set 2. Going crazy with bans now would have a very negative impact on the game as a whole. Long post incoming: If a ban must happen, it should be something minimal. I'm not a veteran riftbound player by any means, but in my humble opinion we are not in a hyper oppressive meta. Is the game perfectly balanced? Absolutely not. There is a clear color imbalance, but I'll bring my 2 decade experience in card games to the table here and say that said imbalance could be worse, A LOT worse. Right now, purple reigns. There's no debating that. But if you look into the decks, you'll realize they differ more than you'd initially think. Draven is successful, with or without called shot. I see many top players state how miracle draven is by far the superior vesion, but the results do not back this claim. Vegas was won by a classic midrange, which defeated the miracle deck in the finals. Irelia does not play called shot, in fact the key aspects that make the deck as powerful mostly stem from green, mainly stellacorn. Ezreal is ultimately a different variation of miracle, yet offers a very different approach, reactive instead of proactive like Draven. Kai'sa is still strong, not quite at the level of the big three. Viktor is also at this level. Champions like Jax are a lot stronger than many claim and I do have some hot takes on Ahri being very underrated but I'll keep that to myself, since I do not have the sample size nor personal experience to back them up yet. We are leading into the final month of the set, and while it is pretty much undeniable that Draven is the best legend in the game, he is far from invincible. Purple color combinations stand above the others, but this gap is, in my opinion, a tad exaggerated by a strong chunk of the playerbase parroting what several top players state as absolute facts. And here's the thing, they are not absolute facts. I know this will rub some people the wrong way, but no one player has a perfect vision of the game right now. And I do feel like a lot of players have locked in to a certain belief that against miracle draven there's just nothing you can do, which is NOT the case. If they banned called shot, I won't mind one bit. If they don't... I'm personally ok with that as well. I think there's still one more month in which players could attempt to find ways to adjust some lesser ranked legends against the meta. And hey, its likely the kings (and queens) won't be dethroned, but I do not believe, from my limited experience of course, that we are in an environment where Draven decks deny other legends from being able to compete. In fact I argue the most oppressive deck in the meta as of now is actually Irelia. But I do not wish for her to be nerfed either. This is my take. I could be wrong, a lot will probably disagree, but this is how I genuinely see things as of now. Set 3 will most definitely shake things up, and perhaps then some bans will actually need to happen due to the card pool increasing.

@Silv4nn @Challengertcg I think people should be allowed to complain online. I also don’t think we should use how people are feeling on Twitter to change the ban list. So if someone is annoying you block or mute them

@Challengertcg I'm gonna be honest. Me and many people know Goerge only as the guy who keeps complaining. Like, for real, this dude may have some good points but the way he is presenting them is so tiring. I think that a break coould be good for him.

@MegaMogwai I’m in favor of a Fright or Flight and Rebuke ban instead of the Stellacorn. I think it’s the easiest way to give Draven and Irelia a weakness. And it won’t hurt people’s expensive cards

I'm not against a banlist. I'm against the statement made in that tweet that undershooting would be the worst thing. I'm stating that if bans happen, I'm ok with it but it should be limited to a few cards at best. Called Shot alone pretty much murders miracle decks as of now. Stellacorn ban nukes Irelia.

@MegaMogwai Also it’s crazy to me, that it seems, we as a community, have memory holed that this game has had more erratas than most games have in their entire lives. No a couple bans will not matter
