-Prioritize exchange time/efficiency over arm strength. -When training arm strength; don't think "How can I throw my hardest?" Think "How can I get the best carry on my ball to the bag?" Over/under load throwing are my most used methods to train arm speed/carry to the bag.

Here are the simple equations: *Below average CS% = average arm strength + below average exchange (Ramirez) *Average CS% = below average arm strength + above average exchange (Narvaez) *Above average CS% = above average arm strength + above average exchange (Torrens)

1) Make it genuine. Shake hands. Remember their name the first time. 2) If they miss a call, keep eyes straight and ask where he needs it next time to be called a strike. 3) Don’t over-frame pitches. Block even with no runners on. 4) After last out is recorded, shake hands.

🚨UPSET ALERT🚨 @BUHuskiesBase beats No.24 Cal U 4-1! Matt Freda was 3-for-3 with an RBI Brandon Wozniak threw five scoreless with a pair of strikeouts. Bryce Danish got the win, throwing four innings of one-run ball with 5 strikeouts. #D2Baseball

Machine blocks with towel as added visual distraction. Yeah, it was cold, but we still got the job done. Machine blocks can become unproductive very quickly if there is no challenge. ALWAYS add a visual, physical, or mental challenge (this is not just about machine blocks)

Game at 2:30pm on a Friday? In Puerto Rico? Airing only on an app i’ve never heard of before? Yeah, sounds like college baseball season to me.

This rocks. Army Baseball took part in Clemson’s tradition of shaking hands with veterans between innings during today’s game

In this session, we worked on glove-side fastballs with arm side run from a RHP.

We don’t want to “move the ball”. We want to: ✅attack shadow zone pitches THROUGH the proper grids… Which allows us to create angles that: ✅counteract the pitch’s movement so that it can be presented as a strike.

Each “shadow zone” pitch should be thought of attacking the ball THROUGH specific grids. I’ve broken the baseball down into 8 grids. Each grid represents the location of the pitch and where to counteract the pitch’s movement.

Catchers‼️ Let’s get to know baseball’s smoothest hands behind the dish (as ranked by baseball savant). Each MLB organization and catcher on this list understands that framing is now a proven and measurable skill.
