I try not to get political on here, because I know most of my followers do not follow me for that.......but as a business owner and Farmer/Rancher these diesel prices are absolutely CRUSHING the AG industry and I am over it. FIX IT!

@dollarsanddata Lots of folks send kids to private school for 1 and 3. Very few for #2 - in fact it’s probably the opposite. But You are out of touch if you think #3 isn’t at the very top of that priority list.

Best counter-arguments I've heard:
(1) Want religious education
(2) Specific schooling needs (e.g., dsylexia)
(3) Safety
(1) and (2) both seem legit. I am skeptical that (3) is an issue at most decent public schools.

Private schools are the most expensive placebo in America. Nowhere else will you pay $250k+ for something that has so little impact on school achievement.

Buy a home in Idaho and keep your Medina home. Visit said Medina home often. Upward mobility makes anything possible (and easy) and the point is policies have consequences. Just ask Howard Schultz, Jeff Bezos, and Boeing. What Im afraid of is there will be more. And as far as athletes, their net contracts will absolutely be a consideration moving forward.

They think of maximizing every dollar, ESP when it comes to taxes. Why do you think the uber wealthy engage teams of accountants? You should - they are literally the engine to prosperity. Don’t believe me? Take the 10 richest humans (and the companies they control) and move them out of the state. Nice take. I’m sure no athlete cares about donating an extra couple million a year to the cause. But calling this issue absurd is actually the absurd part. Policies have consequences regardless of what you think you know. To think millions of dollars means nothing to the Uber wealthy is, in fact, a horrible insight.
