@SinBinVegas @dotvegasinc It’s good that you present these as takeaways as I agree with them in general. All the same I thought today’s performance (all be it from 3 behind) was better and gave me a little hope. Must carry some momentum from the second half of today’s game into Detroit.

3 takeaways from the game, presented by @dotvegasinc 1) 13 straight losses to playoff teams. It has to be sorted out and quickly or the playoff chances, which had been north of 90% pretty much all year, will plummet down. 2) 7 straight regulation losses in which they’ve fallen behind 2-0. They don’t even need to score first, they just can’t go down by two before they score… and they can’t seem to do it. 3) Mark Stone’s health status is massive. This team is nowhere close to as good when he’s out. Add in the funk they’ve been in, and it gets even tougher. The standings are tightening up in a big way and VGK deserve the anxiety that comes with it. 2) The Ducks and Kraken are not particularly great teams but VGK’s record against the better teams continues to be concerning. They’ve struggled against just about every team that’s headed to the playoffs. 3) Two more games before the Olympic break. If they win both, they’ll have 20 regulation wins on the nose.
