I agree… however the strongest winds are right before school starts. With @etracyhw’s goal of calling school before 5am I believe it’s difficult to make a prediction because the power would most likely go out after that time.

@DebClapp1 I’m not gunna focus too much on tomorrows storm cause it WILL NOT IMPACT SCHOOL! However, Wednesdays storm is worth watching with very high (possibly hurricane force) wind gusts. Stay tuned!!!

@DebClapp1 @HWgenerals Exactly… we’ve been burned before. I’m going to keep the faith however I do not believe anything will happens and school will be normal. There’s a lot of time between when the snow ends and school starts to clean up.

Timing is everything. Depending on how long the takes for the storm to tamper down and how quickly the snow removal can be done in the school parking lots and sidewalks.... maybe a delay is in our cards, @HWgenerals? @HwCalculator ? We've been burned before!

Here is a map of the highest wind gusts from yesterday's storm. The strongest winds were across eastern MA. Blue Hill Observatory had the highest wind gust of 90 mph, a factor of the elevation of the observation as well as proximity to the storm.
