@RfreitasRyan @Howlingmutant0 The meaning of everything is beyond having a notion of. I had often wished I had written my true intentions down but the chaos would have gotten the work lost or me found out.

@Howlingmutant0 @Hwileite A friend of mine pulled out some old videos from high school over the weekend. In all of the house party footage I could be found on the periphery, skulking about, sweaty and shifty eyed. Youth is wasted on the young *sigh

The problem with young people today, or “millennials” as they’re called, is they’ve forgotten how to dwell, how to lurk, how to occupy a space with a gloomy permanence

I've wanted one of these as a pet since I was a teen. My Dad has all these cool stories about how he and people he knew used to own wild birds back in the 50's and 60's and I want to return to that.

Women find men most attractive when they have around 13% body fat percentage. The actual average for men is 20-25%. Moreover, at 12-15% body fat, a man with average muscle is considered no less attractive than a man with extreme muscularity. Pictured below is that 13% Fight Club body. So, instead of going to the gym for mass muscle gains, men should just do more fasting to get lean. But don't drop body fat below 10%.

@SrChmiel4 @johannesmkx My gym is a metal bar suspended in two tree trunks 100 years ago from a mechanic who hung stuff on it. Also I use those fast growing trees to hold on to because they bend and I can do squats or any kind of bend. Or I hang off the deck to do roman or situps.

@johannesmkx You still need the gym to get those "average" muscle. Just cash in your noob gains, 6-12 months of relaxed lifting. Combined with low body fat it looks great.

I had never seen the Soviet Krechet spacesuit, developed for the Soviet Moon expedition, this close up and in such detail. Holy shit, the dieselpunk level is unreal. I mean, if the Americans flew and landed their spacecraft with a full-fledged computer on board, the Soviets were supposed to fly basically on mechanics and automation. In other words, straight-up Newtonian: everything as lever-and-vacuum-tube as possible — and the spacesuit is from exactly the same universe. And yes, in theory, they could have landed the spacecraft, but there was a high chance it would have been a “landing” with no return. Since the Soviet rocket was weaker, only one person was supposed to land on the Moon, not two as in the U.S. program. That’s why, in the tests, you can see them practicing ways for a cosmonaut to get back on his feet if he fell. Because there would be no one there to help you. It really does break your brain when you imagine a person in this “canvas-pump-and-dial” suit — alone, on the Moon. But it has to be admitted: yes, there is a certain charm to this kind of extreme engineering minimalism turned up to full dieselpunk.

I feel like people who live in cities not being able to see stars messes with their perception of the universe leading them to poor life choices and diminished problem solving.

@ltgiv Hidden colleges from ancient times who don't understand what the old rituals and information was. That's why it seems like it's made up of posers. Of course we have world control and shit we don't understand but that don't make it good and they don't know what they're doing.

My prevailing theory is that this is all “Men who stare at goats” territory. How soon everyone forgets that the boomers’ and their parents are *obsessed* with the occult, black magic, psychics, and other satanism. When I take my wife to lunch and she asks about some of the buildings/rituals here in Texas, in deadpan fashion, I tell her that’s where the Ghostbusters fought Gozer. 🤣

@ltgiv I got the pink stuff, lots of audio tests, and even an IQ test that made it into my "permenant record" In high school I got access to it (nevermind how) and asked my guidance counselor how they had it.. there was a note that I was tested in elementary school :|

@SeattleIndepen1 What would you call ancient romes spiritual or belief system? I think many would mistakenly just broadly label it pagan when I'm starting to think they were still riding the trails if some broken A.I. god.

@MVLibertas @TristinHopper The entirety of "progressive" values is rooted in a bizarre strain of Jesuit mysticism. So bizarre that the Jesuits kind of disavowed it. I absolutely despise talking to "progressive" atheists who sneer about "sky daddy" but are pursuing some utopia they can't define.
