During the midnight hours near Bahadurpura X Roads (Bakrid Checkpost), personnel of Kamatipura Police noticed a distressed woman wandering without clothes in a vulnerable condition. As all nearby shops were closed at that late hour, Kamatipura SHO B. Prasad Rao immediately stepped forward and provided his own police uniform shirt and a pancha (dhoti) to protect the woman’s dignity and ensure her immediate comfort. Recognizing the risks she faced during the night, the police personnel acted with compassion and responsibility by offering her food, shelter, and protection at the checkpost itself. Their timely intervention prevented any possible harm or untoward incident and reflected the humane side of policing that prioritizes care and safety for vulnerable individuals. The rescue operation was carried out under the supervision of Rajendranagar ACP (NZO) Kishan by the team comprising SHO B. Prasad Rao, ASI Anwar Hussain, and Police Constable Suman. Passersby and motorists appreciated the noble gesture of the police personnel, whose actions highlighted the commitment of Kamatipura Police towards human values, social responsibility, and the protection of women.
