@Hydroctic @NinEverything Well if you’re playing on a 720p screen like on the actual switch it won’t look like that, it’ll look crisp just low res when you blow up 720p to a 1080p or 4K display it’ll look worse, and less so for 1440p

Mario Wonder Switch 2 Edition runs at a native 4K and 60fps.

@LightZ323 @Roubsss_ @OBE1plays 4K is great for bigger, high-resolution TVs, and 120Hz can improve motion in fast-paced games, but it doesn’t make much difference for a 2D Mario game.

@Protoman500 @OBE1plays The main point of this feature is to help switch 1 games look and/or run better on switch 2 in handheld mode without having to wait on the developer to update their game for switch 2.

@Hydroctic @OBE1plays I thought it was more to keep the similarity with docked and handheld mode. Apparently on switch 2 the games in hand held wont look the same as docked like switch 1 now?

Nintendo Switch 2 just got a pretty dope new feature! HANDHELD BOOST MODE! You can now turn this on to play in handheld with the same power as if the game is docked! The obvious trade off will be battery consumption but I’m definitely turning this on! (Edit: while this is a feature for Switch 2, it is only compatible with Switch 1 games.)
