That second-half was tragically bad from a Newcastle perspective. How has that finished 8-3 on aggregate? They were the better team for 3 of the 4 halves of football.

Not one of the 6 Premier League team's have won in the first leg of their Last 16 #UCL ties. Not surprising tbh, we always do well in group stages, then drop Galatasary 1-0 Liverpool PSG 5-2 Chelsea Atletico 5-1 Spurs Real 3-0 Man City Newcastle 1-1 Barca Leverkusen 1-1 Arsenal

90 - William Osula is the only substitute in Premier League history to score a 90th-minute winner against Manchester United. Super.

4 - Bodø/Glimt are the first team from outside of Europe’s big five leagues to win four consecutive games in a European Cup/UEFA Champions League campaign against opponents from those leagues (England, Spain, Germany, Italy & France) since Ajax in 1971-72, who won the European Cup that season. Shock.

654 – James Milner is making his 654th @premierleague appearance against Brentford, the outright most in the competition’s history. Longevity.

@statmusefc 2002/03 they made ot to the 2nd group stage (aka the last 16). So this is a little misleading.

Saliba not even in the squad 😂🤣 I am on to an all timer of a negative set of transfers in #FPL this week.
Robert Austin@HypeTrainRob

To accommodate a move for Saliba in #FPL for the Double Gameweek, I did the following: Transferred out both Thiaw and VVD (both whose returns have recently been poor), who have both scored, for Nunez (MCI), who was subbed off in the 59th minute with an assist. Fml

Liverpool has such a thread bare team. Barely any CB's in the squad, about to sell Robbo, and look so far off the pace. Their defending today, too, for the goals and game management was poor. Deserved win for Bournemouth. They looked more threatening to get the winner.

Liverpool have become the first reigning champions in Premier League history to fail to win at home against all of the promoted clubs (1-1 draws with Sunderland and Burnley, 0-0 draw with Leeds).

102 - Harvey Barnes 102nd-minute goal for Newcastle against Leeds (101:48) is the latest winner on record (from 2006-07) scored in a Premier League match. Bedlam.
