@jojothebaker1 @HypertrophyHub I thought he was trolling but he isn’t. His friends must eat chicken out of a can because if this is the standard for good cooking 😂

Question for the ruckers out there. I use 0 drop wide toe box shoes and my feet are starting to hurt a fair bit after rucking. Getting out of bed this morning my dear were sore. Any way to prevent this?
SilverFoxLeo@BowTiedHRT

Retatrutide Saves Me Money 💰 If you read my Twitter, you know I’m extremely sensitive to this compound. This is my fourth go with it. I’ve tried microdosing every day, twice a week, every other day, and now once a week. I’ve never made it over 2.1 mg total per week. My goal is to get my dose up to around 4mg 💉 because I think that’s where the real magic happens with the blood markers, but I’m happy with the current results at 1.5mg injected once per week. Even five days post-shot, there’s still plenty of compound in my system, but it has dissipated enough that the food noise turns back up a little and I can enjoy thinking about food again, maybe even some trash food 🍫 One of the more remarkable aspects of Reta is that it turns down the retail noise the same way it turns down the food noise. It’s not that I won’t buy anything, it’s that impulse buying, the dopamine hit of tossing something in the Amazon cart 🛒 and having it on the porch in three hours, just doesn’t have any allure. I’ve been a huge proponent of rucking for decades and it has always been part of my training, but I have been unwilling to treat myself to a nice ruck sack. Decades of hiking with a traditional backpack stuffed with sand kind of sucked. It’s uncomfortable, but it got the job done. I’ve had my eye on this GoRuck 5.0 Rucker and even had it sitting in my cart for the last six months and I finally pulled the trigger. Six months. Not six hours, not six days, not six weeks, six months. And I wanted this thing. What I’m really getting at is, yes, I will eventually spend some money while I’m on Reta, but it’s money I want to spend and I’ve thought about. Deeply. I say this all the time: Reta is subversive. What I mean by that is it has the potential to negatively impact the entire food and beverage industry, the retail market, the ever-expanding and repulsive sports gambling industry, the statin class of drugs, and type II diabetes medications 🩸 to name a few. Reta is probably not good for the economic consumer machine. It’s pretty neat that there’s a compound out there that not only can help you make responsible food decisions and works in the background to improve your blood markers across the board, but also grounds you in a place where the things you do buy, products, services, gear, are things you actually need and want. Not something you’re buying to scratch an itch.

Interesting! We used to have one of those stores in my town but I think they went out of business 🤷‍♂️ I have just gone full 0 drop wide toe box and that has honestly helped a ton except for with rucking... My back almost always hurts, I have just accepted that 10 years of football and now 5 years of BJJ and it won't ever be the same 😂

my 7 year old used to play in a creek bed down the street from our house. We live in an extremely safe neighborhood and i had no issues with it. Until our neighbor who is a police office came to our door to tell us it wasn't a good idea for a variety of reasons, mainly a construction project that was happening at the time nearby.

84% of 11-year-olds aren't allowed to leave their street. 53% can't leave their front yard. 92% of 14-year-olds can't leave their neighborhood. We built a culture obsessed with safety. The result? A generation that's measurably more anxious: stevemagness.substack.com/p/the-cost-of-…

The more i research with SS-31 the more i fall in love with it over MOTS-C. First off I actually FEEL it. Unlike a lot of peptides that work silently in the background, SS-31 produces a noticeable increase in my energy, mental clarity, and exercise capacity. Not only that it's great for fat oxidation and lipid clearance at the cellular level. Liver health: SS-31 improves liver mitochondrial function which means better cholesterol processing and clearance. It protects the heart: SS-31 was literally developed (as elamipretide) for heart failure patients because of how effectively it restores cardiac mitochondrial function. For a guy on gear with suppressed HDL and climbing ApoB, SS-31 is protecting the mitochondria in the liver and heart from the oxidative load while improving the machinery that processes lipids. Stack it with some high dose EPA/DHA and a good amount of zone 2 cardio you're in business homie.

@bowtiedmeathead I spent 20 years in the car business. Posted hours meant nothing. And in the eyes of most management, the almighty dollar rules. Fuck your family. So happy to have gotten out of that hell

If you work for a boomer boss you’re likely being judged on how many extra hours you put in… The guy I work for is a prime example… Constantly telling stories about the best employee are the ones who stay late and the last ones to leave the office… Told another story yesterday about a successful guy he knows who works high up at Black Rock (multinational investment company) who hired a kid out of college not based on what Ivy League school he went too but bc he worked as the dishwasher person at a local restaurant while in school. He added, “I want that kid bc I know he is willing to do what it takes and work late. He’s not gonna leave work everyday at 459pm. He’a a worker.” Guess what, I’m that guy that leaves work everyday at 459pm. Not a minute later. In my mind, I get paid for 8 hours and if I can’t do a great job in 8 hours then I’m not very productive and efficient. I will give you everything I got for those 8 hours but anything after that is my family time. I’m not staying late or attending any company gatherings after hours either, unless it’s required. That is my personal time with my family which is more important to me than anything else. Staying late and striving to be known as the “hard working” employee who puts in extra hours is a psyop and completely out dated old man thinking. How about you, where do you stand on this topic? Are you leaving at 459p everyday or staying late and routinely putting in extra hours?

God, I wish. Can't seem to make it turn out as good for some reason. Yes, skill issue for sure. But there's some technique or recipe thing that I'm missing that comes up short. Hell, even salads and sub sandwiches don't taste as good.
Trophy Dad@HypertrophyHub

Once you realize that you can cook *most* restaurant food at home for a fraction of the price your standards for good food/dining subsequently rise. You then become much more choosy when eating out, and in the process end up saving money in the long run.
