Staking HPL lowers Hyperwave’s kHYPE borrowing costs on @hyperlendx This means more yield for hwHYPE, which is currently offering the highest 7-day APR on $HYPE at around 7%.

People are slowly realizing the utility of HLP staking. A fund recently deployed $7M of kHYPE as collateral and borrowed around $5M in HYPE. Along with that, they bought 25k HLP tokens ($350), which nets them an estimated $1k in savings on their loan. The cost of the tokens is essentially covered within a year through these savings, and the HLP remains fully liquid if they need to sell. As this strategy grows, so does the total amount saved on their borrowing costs. gLend.
