The two year anniversary of the riot passed a few days ago (April 25th), and every single word that Philly says here is absolutely spot on!
A peaceful little country village turned upside against their wishes, and for what? Their taxes siphoned off for human trafficking of 3rd world migrants because Champagne Socialist arseholes can signal virtue.
Every day average citizens that are law-abiding like myself having their lives utterly destroyed through public smear campaigns and dragged through the courts on trumped up charges.
Like something out of an Orwellian nightmare. Twenty feet high solid steel fencing mounted with security camera's, floodlights, and still security lazing around on our dime.
This country is allegedly on the cusp of becoming the richest in Europe, and this is what is stuck in the middle of a beautiful village like Newtown?
Varadkar, Harris and Martin will forever be as Ireland's greatest traitors.

Why is Taoiseach Micheal Martin today standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Nato (Mark Rutte), Britain (Keir Starmer) and Ukraine (Zelensky) at a gathering focussed on militarisation.
And who does he think he's kidding by foregrounding "economic, social and political challenges" when most of the discussions are about Ukraine v Russia.
It's all about empires. The Nato empire versus the Russian empire. And it's contemptuous of our Constitution which doesn't do common-defence.

Two ministers saw to it.

O’Donoghue.
Benefacts was becoming too good at showing where the €14bn was going, including uncomfortable details like executive salaries and the exact level of State dependency in certain NGOs.
They didn't just ignore the public, they ignored their own commissioned experts. Indecon found that Benefacts was highly cost effective.
They claimed other departments could take over but none stepped up. Why?
Department’s like Education, Health and Tusla plus the CSO explicitly said they used the data everyday.
Today, as Michael McGrath champions "transparency" across Europe and Paschal Donohue leads the world bank’s strategic relationships with governments, civil society, and major philanthropies worldwide, the Irish public is left without the very tool they allowed to be dismantled.
They shuttered Ireland’s transparency window only to walk into elite global jobs preaching the very openness they just dismantled.
Shameful.

Benefacts was an independent, non-governmental organisation in Ireland 2014–2022 that provided a comprehensivesearchable database of over 18,000–20,000 nonprofit, voluntary, and charitable organizations. It was established to increase transparency. It provided a unique, centralised database that was used by the Irish CSO for national accounts. *The government concluded that the "business case" for continued support was no longer justified, despite objections from the Benefacts board and concerns regarding a loss of transparency in the charity sector. It wasn't just a taboo for political parties (and Micheal Martin left SF Eoin O'Broin a trembling mess at his candour). It was taboo for our mainstream media also.

Beltel in NI covers the story albeit glancingly, but its sister paper the Irish Independent hasn't. Despite the radical demographic experiment playing out in Ireland, the only acceptable position over the past 25 years has been to accept it unquestioningly or be called racist.
No effort was made to have a conversation about consent or first order consequences - never mind second and third order ones that will pop up as ethnic cliques cement, cultural and political power struggles begin the second and third generation rootlessness manifest.

Explosive testimony from African young lady who says she and her sister were trafficked into Ireland as children She speaks of parties were kids were brought for the adults and then the children would disappear, never to be seen again. Replaced with new ones and so the cycle continued. She says the Irish government did not check if the adults accompanying them into the country were really their parents.
